How many minutes is Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight?
Answer
152 minutes
Answer
152 minutes
Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight has a running time of 152 minutes.
Released in 2008, The Dark Knight is Nolan’s second Batman film and the middle entry in his trilogy. Its story follows Batman, Gotham City police and district attorney Harvey Dent as they confront the Joker, whose escalating attacks challenge the city’s institutions.
At 152 minutes, it is substantially longer than Batman Begins, which runs for 140 minutes, and shorter than The Dark Knight Rises, which runs for 165 minutes. These runtimes can be confused because all three films were released as major event blockbusters and share many returning characters.
The film stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Maggie Gyllenhaal. It received eight Academy Award nominations and won two, including a posthumous supporting-actor award for Ledger.
