Beyoncé had won 32 Grammy Awards when she became the ceremony’s most decorated artist in 2023.
She reached 32 wins at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards on February 5, 2023. Her four victories that night included Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Renaissance, which brought her past the previous record held by conductor Georg Solti.
The milestone covered wins across several Grammy categories and genres. Beyoncé had received recognition for R&B, pop, dance, music video, and other fields during a career spanning Destiny’s Child and her solo work.
The record concerns Grammy wins, not nominations or total awards from every organization. It also does not mean she had the most Grammy nominations at that moment. Beyoncé later added more Grammy wins, including Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter in 2025, so the historical total continues to change.
