Beyoncé had won 28 Grammy Awards by the end of the 2021 Grammy Awards.
At the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in March 2021, Beyoncé won four awards, bringing her career total to 28. The result made her the most awarded woman and the most awarded singer in Grammy history at that time. Her 2021 wins included Best R&B Performance for “Black Parade.”
The milestone followed a long sequence of nominations and victories beginning with Destiny’s Child and continuing through her solo career. Her earlier solo albums, visual projects, and singles all contributed to the total recognized by the Recording Academy.
The number can be confused with later totals because Beyoncé continued releasing music and receiving Grammy awards after 2021. The question specifies the end of the 2021 ceremony, when 28 was the historically significant figure.
