Beyoncé had won 35 Grammy Awards by the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in 2025.
She reached that total after winning three awards at the 2025 ceremony, including Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter. Those wins made her the first Black woman to win that category since Lauryn Hill’s victory with The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1997.
Before 2025, Beyoncé already held the record for the most Grammy wins by any artist, surpassing the previous record of 31 held by Georg Solti in 2021. Her wins span pop, R&B, rap, music film, and other Grammy fields.
The total refers to competitive Grammy Awards, not nominations. It is also distinct from the number of Grammy nominations, which is substantially higher. Award totals can change at future ceremonies, so the date is essential to this question.
