Beyoncé had won 32 Grammy Awards by the 2023 ceremony.
At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2023, Beyoncé won four awards for Renaissance and related work. Those victories brought her career total to 32 Grammy Awards, making her the most awarded artist in Grammy history at that time.
Her 2023 wins included Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Break My Soul,” Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa,” Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Renaissance. The milestone was widely reported because it surpassed the previous record held by conductor Georg Solti.
The number must be tied to the ceremony date. Award totals can change as new ceremonies occur, so later Grammy counts should not be retroactively substituted for the 2023 total. This question asks specifically for the total established at that ceremony.
