Beyoncé had won 32 Grammy Awards by the 2023 ceremony, making her the most awarded artist in Grammy history.
She reached the record at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2023, when Renaissance won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album. That victory gave her a total of 32 Grammy wins, surpassing the previous record held by Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti, who had 31.
Beyoncé’s Grammy wins span multiple categories, including R&B, pop, rap, music video, traditional R&B, and dance/electronic music. Her awards have recognized both individual songs and albums, as well as collaborations.
The record concerns Grammy wins, not nominations or every award from every organization. Beyoncé had already become the woman with the most Grammy wins in 2021, when she passed Alison Krauss. She continued to receive nominations after 2023, but the historic total was established at the 2023 ceremony.
