Beyoncé won four Grammy Awards at the 2023 ceremony, bringing her career total to 32.
At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, Beyoncé won for Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album. The awards recognized music from Renaissance, including “Break My Soul” and “Plastic Off the Sofa.”
Her four victories made her the most awarded artist in Grammy history at that point, with 32 wins. She surpassed the previous record held by Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti, who had won 31 Grammys. The ceremony took place on February 5, 2023, in Los Angeles.
The figure four refers only to victories at that ceremony, not her career total. Beyoncé’s nomination count and later Grammy results are separate statistics, which is why answers sometimes incorrectly give 32 or another number to this question.
