How many floors does Hong Kong’s International Commerce Centre have?
Answer
108 floors
Answer
108 floors
Hong Kong’s International Commerce Centre has 108 floors.
The International Commerce Centre, commonly called ICC, stands in West Kowloon and forms the tallest part of the Union Square development. It opened in 2010 and is connected to the large Elements shopping mall and Kowloon Station.
The building was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox in collaboration with Wong & Ouyang. Its height and position across Victoria Harbour make it a major part of Hong Kong’s skyline, especially when viewed from Hong Kong Island.
The floor count can cause confusion because the building omits a conventional fourth floor in its numbering and uses special numbering practices. Its 108-floor figure is the standard architectural description, while mechanical and refuge areas may not function like ordinary office floors.
