Six matches ended with one team keeping a clean sheet in the 2026–27 Premier League opening round.
The clean-sheet victories were Arsenal 3–0 Coventry City, Hull City 2–0 Manchester United, Nottingham Forest 0–1 Leeds United, Everton 2–0 Crystal Palace, Brentford 3–0 Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton 4–0 Aston Villa.
A clean sheet means a team concedes no goals. Six of the ten fixtures therefore had a shutout, while four matches involved both teams scoring: Ipswich Town versus Sunderland, Manchester City versus Bournemouth, Newcastle United versus Liverpool and Fulham versus Chelsea.
The statistic includes both home and away winners. Leeds United were the only away team among the clean-sheet winners to win by a single goal; the other five shutouts were home victories.
