At which World Cup did Argentina beat England 2-1 with Maradona's 'Goal of the Century'?

The story behind the answer

Argentina beat England 2–1 with Maradona’s “Goal of the Century” at the 1986 FIFA World Cup.

The quarter-final was played on 22 June 1986 at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. Maradona opened the scoring shortly after half-time with the controversial “Hand of God” goal. Four minutes later, he collected the ball in his own half, ran toward England’s penalty area and dribbled past several defenders before rounding goalkeeper Peter Shilton and scoring.

FIFA later named the solo effort the “Goal of the Century” after a 2002 online poll. The run covered roughly half the pitch and involved Maradona beating Peter Beardsley, Steve Hodge, Peter Reid, Terry Butcher and Terry Fenwick before finishing.

Gary Lineker pulled one goal back for England in the 81st minute, but Argentina held on. Argentina later defeated West Germany in the final, while Maradona won the tournament’s Golden Ball as its outstanding player.
