At which stadium did the 2026–27 Premier League opening weekend conclude?

The 2026–27 Premier League opening weekend concluded at Craven Cottage.

Fulham hosted Chelsea at the west London stadium on Monday, 24 August 2026. Chelsea won the final match of the opening Match Round 3–2. Craven Cottage is located beside the River Thames and has been Fulham’s home for much of the club’s history.

The opening weekend began at Emirates Stadium with Arsenal versus Coventry City on Friday. It then moved through grounds including MKM Stadium, Portman Road and St James’ Park before ending at Fulham’s historic home. The sequence of venues followed the published league schedule.

Craven Cottage can be confused with Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s home stadium. Although the clubs are close neighbours and met in the opening round, Chelsea were the visitors in this match. The Monday fixture was also the round’s only game played on that day.
