Beyoncé headlined the 2018 Coachella performances documented in Homecoming.
Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé was released on Netflix in April 2019. It documents Beyoncé's performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, on April 14 and April 21, 2018.
The performance was notable because Beyoncé became the first Black woman to headline Coachella. The production drew on historically Black colleges and universities, marching-band traditions, step shows, majorette dance, and a large ensemble of musicians and dancers.
Destiny's Child reunited during the set, with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joining Beyoncé. Jay-Z also appeared, and Beyoncé performed material spanning her solo career. Homecoming is both a concert film and a live album, but it should not be confused with Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, which documents the 2023 Renaissance World Tour.
