Genesis says Noah was 600 years old when the Flood came.
Genesis 7:6 states that Noah was six hundred years old when the waters of the Flood came upon the earth. This age belongs to the biblical chronology at the start of the Flood, after Noah has been instructed to enter the ark with his household and the animals.
The number should not be confused with Noah’s lifespan. Genesis 9:29 says Noah lived 950 years in total, meaning the Flood occurred 350 years before his death in the narrative chronology. Biblical genealogical ages are part of the text’s own chronology and should not be treated as scientifically verified human-life records.
