At the 2023 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé reached 32 career Grammy wins and set the all-time record for most Grammy victories.
She achieved the milestone at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards on February 5, 2023. Her wins included Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Renaissance, Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa,” Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” and Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Break My Soul.”
The 32-win total surpassed the previous record held by Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti, who had won 31 Grammys. Beyoncé’s total includes awards received as a solo artist and earlier recognition connected with group work.
A frequent source of confusion is the difference between nominations and wins. Beyoncé has received many more nominations than victories, but the record set in 2023 concerns the number of Grammy awards won. The total is also separate from other honors such as MTV Video Music Awards or BET Awards.
