At the 2021 Grammys, Beyoncé had won 28 career Grammy Awards.
She reached that total at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, held in March 2021, when she won four awards. Those wins included Best R&B Performance for "Black Parade," which also made her the most awarded woman and singer in Grammy history at that point, as well as one of the most awarded artists overall.
The 28-win milestone reflected work across solo albums, singles, collaborations, and music connected with film. Beyoncé had previously won Grammys with Destiny's Child and earned many more as a solo artist, making her career total broader than the awards associated with one album alone.
The number later became outdated: Beyoncé reached 32 Grammy wins at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in 2023. Therefore, 28 is specifically the total connected with the 2021 ceremony, while 32 describes her later record total.
