According to Genesis, Noah lives 350 years after the Flood.
Genesis 9:28 states that Noah lives 350 years after the Flood, and Genesis 9:29 gives his total lifespan as 950 years. The two figures belong together: the later-life number is not the duration of the Flood, nor is it Noah’s age when he enters the Ark.
This chronology can be confused with the 150 days during which the waters prevail, the 40 days and nights of rain, or Noah’s age of 600 at the beginning of the Flood. Each number measures a different part of the story.
Genesis closes Noah’s main narrative with his death at 950. The text then shifts to the generations descended from his three sons. As with the other patriarchal ages in Genesis, the number is part of the biblical genealogy and narrative chronology.
