Who won the Masters in 2023?

Jon Rahm won the Masters in 2023.

Rahm captured the 87th Masters Tournament at Augusta National on April 9, 2023, finishing at 12-under-par 276. He shot a final-round 69 to complete a comeback victory, finishing four strokes ahead of Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson, who tied for second. The win gave Rahm his second major championship.

The victory was especially notable because Rahm began the tournament with a four-putt double bogey on the first hole. He recovered immediately with a strong opening-round 65 and remained near the lead throughout the weather-disrupted event. After three rounds, he was two strokes behind Koepka, but he pulled ahead during the final round with steady ball-striking and timely birdies.

Rahm became the fourth Spaniard to win the Masters, following Seve Ballesteros, José María Olazábal and Sergio García. He also became the first European golfer to win both the U.S. Open and the Masters. Defending champion Scottie Scheffler finished tied for 10th.
