Leanne Mitchell won the first season of The Voice UK.

The inaugural British season aired on BBC One in 2012. Mitchell performed on Team Tom, coached by singer Tom Jones, and won the live final on June 2, 2012. Her victory earned a recording contract with Universal Republic and a cash prize.
