Answer
Ted Potter Jr.
Answer
Ted Potter Jr.
Ted Potter Jr. won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2018.
Potter finished at 17-under-par 270, defeating Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Phil Mickelson, and Chez Reavie by three strokes. The tournament was played from February 8–11 across Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club.
His victory was powered by a spectacular third-round 62 at Monterey Peninsula, which put him into a tie for the lead with world No. 1 Dustin Johnson. Potter followed it with a steady final-round 69 at Pebble Beach, including 11 consecutive pars to close out the title. The win was his second PGA Tour victory, following his 2012 Greenbrier Classic triumph.
A common mix-up is confusing Potter’s win with Dustin Johnson’s nearby victories: Johnson won the event in 2009 and 2010, but Potter was the 2018 champion. Potter was also the tournament’s only left-handed winner apart from four-time champion Phil Mickelson at that point.
