Cirie Fields won season 1 of the US reality competition 'The Traitors'.

Fields played as a Traitor and reached the end of the first season without being banished. She then took the entire prize fund, because no Faithful contestant remained to share it with her. Her victory demonstrated how the format rewards deception as well as challenge performance.

The American series premiered on Peacock in January 2023, with Alan Cumming as host. Contestants, called Faithfuls and Traitors, live together in a Scottish castle, complete missions, and vote at round tables while trying to identify the hidden Traitors.

The cast mixed reality-TV veterans from programs such as 'Survivor', 'Big Brother', and 'The Real Housewives'. Fields was already known for multiple appearances on 'Survivor', but her 'Traitors' victory was a separate competition and should not be confused with a 'Survivor' championship.
