Who won golf's 2018 Genesis Open?

Bubba Watson won golf’s 2018 Genesis Open. He finished at 12-under-par 272 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, winning by two strokes over fellow Americans Kevin Na and Tony Finau.

The victory was Watson’s third Genesis Open title, following his wins in 2014 and 2016. It was also his 10th PGA Tour victory, ending a nearly two-year winless stretch since his previous triumph at this same tournament in 2016.

The event was especially significant because Riviera is one of Watson’s strongest venues. The tournament has a long history dating to the Los Angeles Open, first played in 1926, and has featured champions such as Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer and Phil Mickelson.

A common mix-up is confusing the 2018 winner with Dustin Johnson, who won the Genesis Open in 2017. The tournament was later renamed the Genesis Invitational, but the 2018 edition was officially called the Genesis Open.
