Who won golf's 2017 Sanderson Farms Championship?

Ryan Armour won golf’s 2017 Sanderson Farms Championship. He finished at 19 under par with a four-round total of 269 at the Country Club of Jackson in Mississippi.

Armour closed with a 4-under-par 68 and won by five strokes over Chesson Hadley. The victory was Armour’s first PGA Tour title, achieved in his 105th career start on the circuit. He had previously spent years moving between the PGA Tour and developmental tours.

The 2017 tournament was played from October 26–29 and was part of the 2017–18 PGA Tour season. Armour’s performance also earned him a two-year PGA Tour exemption and a place in the following season’s Tournament of Champions. A common mix-up is confusing him with Cody Gribble, who won the Sanderson Farms Championship the previous year, in 2016.
