Who won golf's 2017 CIMB Classic?

Pat Perez won golf’s 2017 CIMB Classic at TPC Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Perez finished the 72-hole stroke-play event at 24-under-par 264, winning by four strokes over Keegan Bradley. His final-round 69 secured the title after he had built a substantial lead during the tournament.

The CIMB Classic was a limited-field professional tournament established in 2010 and co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and Asian Tour. The 2017 edition was played from October 12–15 as part of the 2017–18 PGA Tour season. Perez’s victory was his third PGA Tour title.

A common mix-up is Justin Thomas, who won the CIMB Classic in both 2015 and 2016 and entered the 2017 event as the two-time defending champion. Thomas did not win a third consecutive title; Perez replaced him as champion.
