Who won Best Featured Actress in a Play at the 2026 Tony Awards for Death of a Salesman?

The story behind the answer

Laurie Metcalf won Best Featured Actress in a Play at the 2026 Tony Awards for Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.

Metcalf was recognized for her performance in the revival of Miller’s 1949 drama. The play follows traveling salesman Willy Loman and his family as they confront memory, ambition, economic pressure, and the gap between personal dreams and reality.

The production was the night’s biggest winner, taking six Tony Awards in total. Along with Metcalf’s acting prize, Death of a Salesman won Best Revival of a Play, direction for Joe Mantello, scenic design for Chloe Lamford, lighting design for Jack Knowles, and sound design for Mikaal Sulaiman.

Metcalf’s award was for a featured role, not a leading role. The 2026 leading-actress-in-a-play winner was Lesley Manville for Oedipus. Metcalf is also known for television work on Roseanne and The Conners, but this Tony honored her stage performance.
