Who was the youngest-ever investor to join the regular panel of BBC's Dragon's Den?

Steven Bartlett was the youngest-ever investor to join the regular panel of BBC's Dragon's Den.

Bartlett joined the programme for its nineteenth series in 2021, when he was 29 years old. His appointment brought a notably younger technology and social-media entrepreneur to a panel historically dominated by investors with long careers in retail, manufacturing and traditional business.

Before appearing on television, Bartlett co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing agency, with Dominic McGregor. He became known for building businesses and for discussing entrepreneurship through podcasts and online media, giving him a profile different from several earlier dragons.

The phrase “youngest-ever” refers to the age at which he joined the regular UK panel. It does not mean he was the youngest person ever to appear as a guest, entrepreneur or visitor in the wider Dragon's Den franchise.
