Who was the youngest-ever Dragon when Steven Bartlett joined the Dragon's Den panel in 2021?

Steven Bartlett was the youngest-ever Dragon when he joined the panel in 2021.

Bartlett joined Dragon's Den at age 29, bringing an unusually young profile to a panel traditionally made up of older, established businesspeople. His appointment reflected the growing importance of digital entrepreneurship, social-media brands and online communities in the programme’s investment landscape.

Before television, Bartlett co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing company, and became known as a podcast host and public speaker. His age at appointment is often confused with the ages of other relatively young investors, but the record concerns the Dragon joining the panel in 2021, not the youngest entrepreneur ever to pitch on the show.

The distinction is also separate from Sara Davies’s status as the youngest female Dragon when she joined in 2019. Both facts can appear in summaries of the panel’s history, but they refer to different records.
