Who was the youngest-ever Dragon when he joined BBC Dragon's Den in 2021?
Answer
Steven Bartlett
Steven Bartlett was the youngest-ever Dragon when he joined BBC Dragon's Den in 2021.
Bartlett was born in Botswana in 1992 and became known for founding Social Chain, a social-media marketing agency, with Dominic McGregor. The company grew rapidly by creating and distributing viral online content for brands. Bartlett later became widely known as the host of The Diary of a CEO podcast.
He joined Dragon's Den for its nineteenth series, which aired in 2021. At 29, he brought a notably younger digital-media perspective to a panel traditionally associated with retail, manufacturing and established business ownership.
The age claim refers to his age when he joined the programme, not to the age at which he founded Social Chain. He is also distinct from Nick Jenkins, whose Dragon profile is connected with Moonpig.
