Who was the youngest Dragon ever appointed to the BBC's Dragon's Den panel?

Steven Bartlett was the youngest Dragon ever appointed to the BBC's Dragon's Den panel.

Bartlett joined the programme in 2021, when he was 29 years old. His appointment followed the success of Social Chain, the social-media marketing agency he co-founded with Dominic McGregor in 2014. The business grew from a social-media venture into an international company.

His investment interests and public profile are closely connected to technology, online communities, marketing and digital businesses. This background distinguished him from panel members whose careers were built mainly in manufacturing, retail or traditional finance.

Bartlett's age is sometimes confused with the ages of earlier Dragons when they first appeared. The claim concerns the age at appointment to the British Dragon's Den panel, not the youngest entrepreneur ever to pitch in the den and not the youngest person to receive an investment.
