Peter Jones was the only original Dragon still appearing on the regular UK Dragon's Den panel in 2022.
Jones joined the programme at its launch in 2005, alongside the original investors. Over the years, the panel changed substantially as Dragons left, returned, or were replaced. His continuous presence made him the longest-serving member of the main panel and a defining figure in the British edition.
Several other early Dragons became closely identified with the programme. Theo Paphitis and Duncan Bannatyne were both original investors, but neither remained a regular panel member through the later period. Richard Farleigh also appeared in the early years without becoming the enduring link between the launch and the modern series.
