Who was the only female investor in the original Dragon's Den UK panel?

Rachel Elnaugh was the only female investor in the original Dragon's Den UK panel.

Elnaugh joined the original group of British dragons when the programme launched. She was known as an entrepreneur and businesswoman, particularly for co-founding the gift company Red Letter Days, which sold experience gifts.

The original panel also included Peter Jones, Duncan Bannatyne, Doug Richard and Simon Woodroffe. Deborah Meaden joined later, so she was not part of the original investor line-up despite becoming one of the programme's most recognisable dragons.

Elnaugh left the show after its early run. Her involvement is sometimes obscured by the later prominence of Meaden and other female investors, but the original-panel distinction specifically identifies Elnaugh.
