Who was the first golfer to shoot all four Masters rounds in the 60s?

The story behind the answer

Cameron Smith was the first golfer to shoot all four Masters rounds in the 60s.

Smith achieved the feat at the 2020 Masters, held in November after the tournament was postponed by the COVID-19 pandemic. His scores were 67, 68, 69 and 69, giving him four consecutive rounds below 70 and a 15-under-par total.

Smith did not win that Masters. Dustin Johnson set the scoring record at 20 under par and won by five strokes, while Smith tied Sungjae Im for second. That result is why the achievement can be overlooked: it was a round-by-round scoring milestone rather than a championship record.

The phrase “all four rounds in the 60s” means every individual score was between 60 and 69. Jordan Spieth, Sungjae Im and Dustin Johnson were prominent players in the same event, but none was the first to complete all four rounds in that range.
