Who was one of the original five Dragons on the British show Dragons' Den?

Rachel Elnaugh was one of the original five Dragons on the British show Dragons' Den.

Elnaugh joined the launch panel as an entrepreneur and investor. She founded Red Letter Days, a company selling experience gifts, and became known for bringing consumer-business experience to the programme's early panel.

The original Dragons were Rachel Elnaugh, Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis. Their different business backgrounds gave the first series a varied panel: retail, leisure, property, consumer brands and investment experience were all represented.

Elnaugh later left the regular panel, and the programme introduced other investors in subsequent series. She is sometimes confused with later female Dragons such as Deborah Meaden, Kelly Hoppen or Sara Davies, but Elnaugh was the female investor present among the original five at the British launch.
