Who voiced Scuttle the seagull?

Buddy Hackett voiced Scuttle the seagull in The Little Mermaid.

Scuttle is Ariel’s self-appointed expert on the human world. He confidently identifies objects such as a fork and a smoking pipe, but his explanations are hilariously wrong: he calls the fork a “dinglehopper” and the pipe a “snarfblatt.” His misinformation gives Ariel comic guidance while showing how little either character understands the other world.

Hackett was a veteran American comedian and actor known for his energetic, loose comic delivery. That style suited Scuttle, whose frantic chatter and misplaced confidence make him one of the film’s major comic characters. Scuttle also appears during the opening exploration of Ariel’s collection and helps propel the story’s fascination with human objects.
