Haytham Kenway is a major character in Assassin’s Creed III and the father of the game’s central protagonist, Ratonhnhaké:ton, commonly called Connor. Hough provided the character’s English voice and performance, giving Haytham a prominent role in the opening portion of the game and later story sections.

Assassin’s Creed III was released in 2012 and is set largely during the American Revolution. Haytham is introduced as a highly trained Templar, creating an important contrast with Connor’s later commitment to the Assassin Brotherhood.

The casting can be confused with other performers in the series. Noah Watts voiced Ratonhnhaké:ton, while Roger Craig Smith voiced Ezio Auditore in several earlier games.
