Who served as a director of Pokémon Pokopia alongside Takuto Edagawa?

Shigeru Ohmori served as a director of Pokémon Pokopia alongside Takuto Edagawa.

Ohmori is credited as one of the game’s directors and was also the concept and senior director. He conceived Pokopia while considering new ways for players to create Pokémon habitats.

His earlier work as a map designer on Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire influenced the concept. That connection helps explain why shaping landscapes and designing habitats became central to Pokopia’s identity.

Takuto Edagawa served as chief director, so the two names represent different credited leadership roles. Ohmori should not be confused with Junichi Masuda, Satoshi Tajiri, or Ken Sugimori, who are associated with other important parts of Pokémon history.
