Who runs the "Monster Garage" and helped invent the show?

Jesse James ran “Monster Garage” and helped create the concept behind the reality series. As host and central builder, he led teams that transformed ordinary vehicles into unusual working machines under tight deadlines and strict budgets.

The Discovery Channel series premiered in 2002.
