Who plays the character of Annie January?

Erin Moriarty plays Annie January in The Boys. Annie is better known by her superhero identity, Starlight, and Moriarty has portrayed the character throughout the live-action series. Starlight joins the Seven at the beginning of the story, believing that Vought's superhero organization represents genuine heroism before discovering how deeply its public image is controlled by corporate interests.

Moriarty's performance follows Annie's transformation from an idealistic newcomer into one of the show's moral centers. The character is pressured by Vought, sexually assaulted by the Deep, and repeatedly forced to balance her public identity with her growing opposition to the company. Her relationship with Hughie Campbell also becomes one of the series' main emotional storylines.

The role is sometimes confused with the actors who play other members of the Seven. Jessie T. Usher plays A-Train, Karen Fukuhara plays Kimiko, and Dominique McElligott plays Queen Maeve.
