Who played Mini Me in the "Austin Powers" movies?
Answer
Verne Troyer
Answer
Verne Troyer
Verne Troyer played Mini-Me in the Austin Powers movies.
Mini-Me is the diminutive, nearly silent clone of Dr. Evil, the villain played by Mike Myers. The character first appeared in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, released in 1999, and returned in Austin Powers in Goldmember in 2002.
Troyer’s performance relied heavily on physical comedy, expressive reactions, and the character’s visual contrast with Dr. Evil. Although Mini-Me rarely speaks, he became one of the most recognizable figures in the comedy series and a frequent source of parody.
The character is sometimes confused with “Mr. Bigglesworth,” Dr. Evil’s hairless cat, or with Scott Evil, Dr. Evil’s son. Troyer also appeared in other films, including Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, where he portrayed Griphook while providing the character’s voice.
