Chloe Wise painted the original oil artwork for Olivia Rodrigo’s web-store picture-disc edition of You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.
The artwork was created for the official web-store edition, also called the “Carve Our Names” picture disc. It is separate from the standard album cover, which shows Rodrigo upside down on a swing in a pink-and-blue sky.
The painting was based on a photograph by Chad Moore. That credit can cause confusion: Moore supplied the photographic source, while Wise created the original oil painting. Jean-Honoré Fragonard is another nearby name because the standard cover was compared with his painting The Swing.
Wise’s contribution reflects the album’s broader visual campaign, which used light pink and blue tones, romantic imagery, and deliberately old-fashioned styling. The multiple editions make the album’s artwork history more detailed than a single-cover release.
