Who manages the Los Angeles Dodgers during their 2026 three-peat chase?

Dave Roberts manages the Los Angeles Dodgers during their 2026 three-peat chase.

Roberts became the Dodgers’ manager in 2016 after a brief playing career and a period as a San Diego Padres coach. He quickly established himself as one of baseball’s most successful modern managers, guiding Los Angeles to repeated National League West titles and the 2020 World Series championship.

The Dodgers entered 2026 seeking a third consecutive World Series title after defeating the Tampa Bay Rays in 2024 and the Toronto Blue Jays in 2025. Roberts is therefore the manager associated with this three-peat attempt, not one of the managers listed as alternatives. Craig Counsell manages the Chicago Cubs, John Schneider manages the Toronto Blue Jays, and Aaron Boone manages the New York Yankees.

Roberts is sometimes confused with the team’s president of baseball operations, Andrew Friedman, whose role centers more on roster construction and baseball operations. Roberts’ job is managing the major-league club and making game-day decisions.
