Who is the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned?
Answer
Johnny Klebitz
Answer
Johnny Klebitz
The protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned is Johnny Klebitz. He is the vice-president of The Lost MC, an outlaw motorcycle club operating in Liberty City and Alderney.
The 2009 expansion follows Johnny as he tries to keep the gang together after its president, Billy Grey, returns from court-ordered rehabilitation. Billy’s aggressive decisions reignite conflict with rival biker gang the Angels of Death, undermining a truce Johnny had negotiated. Johnny is more cautious and pragmatic than Billy, but he remains deeply involved in drug deals, gang warfare, robberies, and political corruption.
The Lost and Damned takes place simultaneously with Grand Theft Auto IV and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Johnny therefore crosses paths with Niko Bellic and Luis López, sometimes seeing events from a different perspective. A notable example is the stolen diamond storyline, which appears in all three episodes.
A common mix-up is choosing Billy Grey because he is The Lost’s president and drives much of the early conflict. However, Billy is a major supporting character, while Johnny is the playable lead whose story the expansion follows.
