Who is the playable protagonist of Assassin's Creed Revelations?
Answer
Ezio Auditore
Answer
Ezio Auditore
Ezio Auditore is the playable protagonist of Assassin's Creed Revelations.
The game continues Ezio's story as he travels to Constantinople in the early sixteenth century. He searches for keys connected to Altaïr's former headquarters in Masyaf and becomes involved in the political struggle between the Ottoman Empire and Byzantine Templars. Constantinople, now Istanbul, is the game's principal city.
Revelations also gives players substantial control of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad in historical memory sequences. Desmond Miles appears in the modern-day storyline and is playable in separate sections, but neither character is the game's primary protagonist. This multi-character structure is why the title can be confused with a direct Altaïr sequel.
The game was released in 2011 and was designed as the conclusion to Ezio's main trilogy. It therefore connects plot threads from Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood while also revisiting the first game's protagonist and expanding the series' modern-day mythology.
