Who is the playable female Assassin in Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation?

Aveline de Grandpré is the playable female Assassin in Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation.

Aveline is a woman of mixed French and African heritage who operates in 18th-century Louisiana. The game follows her activities in and around New Orleans, the bayou, and other locations during the period of Spanish rule and political upheaval in the region.

Liberation was originally released for the PlayStation Vita in 2012 and was later ported to other platforms. Aveline uses disguises as part of a persona system, allowing her to adopt different social roles with different abilities and restrictions. She is distinct from Evie Frye, Kassandra, and Aya, who lead or co-lead other Assassin’s Creed stories.
