Peter Jones is the only original Dragons' Den investor to remain on the programme continuously since its 2005 launch.
Jones appeared in the first British series alongside Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe, Doug Richard and, later in the initial run, other investors. He has remained a regular Dragon throughout the programme's changing line-up.
His business interests have included mobile communications, technology, property and media. On the show, he is particularly associated with questioning entrepreneurs about valuation, commercial scale and how much ownership they are offering.
Other long-serving Dragons have also made many appearances, but they did not stay continuously from the launch. Duncan Bannatyne departed in 2014, while Theo Paphitis left the regular line-up earlier. That makes Jones the clearest answer to the programme's continuity record.
