Eivor is the main playable protagonist of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Eivor is a Viking raider who leads a Norse clan from Norway to England during the ninth century and becomes involved with the Hidden Ones.
The game allows players to choose a male or female presentation for Eivor, while the character's name and central identity remain Eivor Varinsdottir. Eivor establishes a settlement in England and forms alliances with regional rulers as the story unfolds.
Valhalla was released in 2020 and features historical settings in Norway and England, alongside a modern-day storyline involving Layla Hassan. Eivor is separate from Bayek of Origins and Kassandra of Odyssey. Although Eivor works with Hidden Ones, Eivor is not formally presented as a traditional Assassin at the start of the adventure.
