Who is the main playable character in Assassin's Creed Rogue?
Answer
Shay Patrick Cormac
Answer
Shay Patrick Cormac
Shay Patrick Cormac is the main playable character in Assassin's Creed Rogue.
Shay begins the game as an Assassin during the Seven Years' War, but a crisis involving an ancient artifact causes him to reject the Brotherhood's methods. He later joins the Templars and hunts former allies, making Rogue distinctive within the series because its protagonist becomes a Templar operative.
The story takes place mainly in the North Atlantic, the river valley around the northeastern American colonies and New York City. Its setting connects the game to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed III, while its plot bridges events between those games.
Arno Dorian belongs to Assassin's Creed Unity, and Edward Kenway is the protagonist of Black Flag. Connor Kenway is the central character of Assassin's Creed III. Shay's change of allegiance is the defining feature that separates his role from those protagonists.
