Who is the main historical protagonist of Assassin's Creed III?
Answer
Connor Kenway
Answer
Connor Kenway
The main historical protagonist of Assassin's Creed III is Connor Kenway.
Connor's birth name is Ratonhnhaké:ton, and he is the son of the Templar Haytham Kenway and Kaniehtíio, a Kanien'kehá:ka woman. He adopts the name Connor after entering the wider colonial world and eventually becomes an Assassin under the guidance of Achilles Davenport.
The game follows Connor during the American Revolution, with major events taking place in the Thirteen Colonies from the 1750s into the 1780s. His story includes Boston, New York, the frontier, and encounters with historical figures including George Washington and Samuel Adams.
Players sometimes confuse Connor with Edward Kenway because both are members of the Kenway family. Edward is the pirate protagonist of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, while Connor is the central Assassin of Assassin's Creed III.
