Who is the final boss of the Mists of Pandaria expansion?

Garrosh Hellscream is the final boss of the Mists of Pandaria expansion. Players face him in the Siege of Orgrimmar raid, the expansion’s concluding raid and major story climax.

Garrosh began Mists of Pandaria as Warchief of the Horde, but his rule became increasingly authoritarian and violent. His pursuit of power led him to exploit the sha, attack the neutral city of Dalaran, and ultimately use the Heart of Y’Shaarj to empower Orgrimmar. A combined Alliance and Horde force then assaulted the city and overthrew him.

The raid’s final encounter is fought in the ruined depths beneath Orgrimmar. After his defeat, Garrosh is captured rather than killed, setting up his escape and time-travel journey in Warlords of Draenor. The Thunder King and Lei Shen are the same character, and Lei Shen is a major earlier antagonist in Throne of Thunder. The Sha of Pride is also an earlier Siege of Orgrimmar encounter, not the expansion’s final boss.
