Who is the cover athlete for Madden NFL 27?
Answer
Caleb Williams
Caleb Williams is the cover athlete for Madden NFL 27.
Williams is the Chicago Bears quarterback featured on the game’s standard-edition cover. EA announced him as the cover athlete in 2026, making the selection a prominent part of the game’s reveal campaign.
The cover artwork shows Williams throwing while jumping in front of the Chicago skyline. Its visual style was designed to echo Michael Jordan’s famous Jumpman imagery, connecting the game’s presentation to an iconic Chicago sports image.
Several recent Madden games featured highly recognizable NFL stars, including Saquon Barkley on Madden NFL 26 and Josh Allen on Madden NFL 24. Those players belong to earlier editions, so they are common mix-ups when identifying Madden NFL 27’s cover.
