Who is listed as Dodgers general manager for the 2026 season?

For the 2026 season, Brandon Gomes is listed as the Dodgers’ general manager.

Gomes is the club’s executive vice president and general manager. His responsibilities include helping oversee the major-league roster, transactions, player evaluation, and coordination between the front office and the field operation. The title is distinct from president of baseball operations, a role held by Andrew Friedman, who directs the broader baseball strategy.

Gomes first joined the Dodgers organization after his playing career as a pitching coordinator. He moved into player-development leadership, became a vice president and assistant general manager in 2019, and was promoted to general manager in January 2022. Before becoming an executive, he pitched in MLB for the Tampa Bay Rays from 2011 through 2015.

A common mix-up is to identify Stan Kasten, the Dodgers’ president and CEO, as general manager. Kasten leads the club at the executive level, while Gomes occupies the roster-building position identified as GM.
